Rubber Base Gel Specifications

​Unlike traditional base coats, which are thin and rigid after curing, Rubber Base Gel has several unique characteristics:

• ​Texture (Viscosity): It is thick and high-density. This makes it easy to manipulate and shape because it does not quickly run into the cuticles.
• ​Flexibility: Its defining feature is that it "moves" along with the natural nail. If the nail bends, the base bends with it without cracking or chipping.
• ​Self-Leveling Ability: It has excellent self-leveling properties, evenly spreading across the nail to fill in ridges, bumps, or imperfections.
• ​Colors: It comes in a Clear version, but Cover versions (shades nude, pink, milky white) are highly popular and can be worn on their own as a natural color.
• ​Curing: It polymerizes (cures) under an LED lamp (usually 60 seconds) or a UV lamp (120 seconds).

​What is it used for and what are its benefits?

1. ​Reinforcement for thin and weak nails: Ideal for nails that bend, peel, or break easily.
2. ​Structuring and Apex Alignment: Used to build the proper arch (nail architecture) and hide imperfections like ridges or dents.
3. ​Short Extensions: It can be used for very minor extensions of the natural nail (1–2 mm), though it is not meant for long extensions like Builder Gel.
4. ​Maximum Longevity: It prevents the gel polish from lifting at the edges, making the manicure last anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks.

​Step-by-Step Application Guide

​Follow these steps to achieve a flawless, long-lasting result:

​1. Nail Preparation (Crucial Step!)

• ​Push back and clean the cuticles.
• ​Use a buffer (soft nail file) to gently remove the natural shine from the nail surface.
• ​Clean the dust and dehydrate the nail using a lint-free wipe soaked in Cleanser or rubbing alcohol.

​2. Bonder / Primer

• ​Apply a thin coat of acid-free Primer to ensure optimal adhesion, and let it air-dry for about 60 seconds.

​3. The Base Layer (Scrub Layer)

• ​Apply a very thin layer of Rubber Base Clear over the entire nail, "scrubbing" it into the nail plate with the brush. Do not build structure yet.
• ​Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

​4. The Building & Leveling Layer

• ​Pick up a larger drop (bead) of Rubber Base on your brush.
• ​Place it near the cuticle (without touching the skin) and gently glide it down towards the free edge, guiding the product along the center.
• ​Pro Tip: Flip the hand upside down (nails facing the floor) for 5–10 seconds before curing. This allows gravity to pull the gel to the center, creating a perfect, smooth Apex.
• ​Immediately cure under the LED lamp for 60–90 seconds.

​5. Color and Top Coat

• ​If you used a tinted Cover Rubber Base and like the shade, you can skip the color polish and go straight to the Top Coat.
• ​If you want a different color, apply your gel polish colors over the cured base, cure them, and seal everything with a shiny or matte Top Coat.

​⚠️ Important Note: Due to its density, Rubber Base can sometimes cause a temporary "heat spike" (a burning sensation) in the lamp for 2–3 seconds. If this happens, simply pull the hand out of the lamp for a moment until the heat subsides, then place it back in.
