​An Acid-Free Primer acts like "double-sided tape" between the natural nail and the product (Gel, Rubber Base, or Acrylic). Instead of etching the nail plate like traditional acid primers, it creates a chemical covalent bond, making it safer and highly effective for everyday salon work.

​Key Specifications

​Chemical Formulation: Completely free of methacrylic acid. The primary active ingredient is typically Ethyl Acetate, which acts as an adhesion promoter without damaging the nail layers.

​Curing Process: 100% air-dry. It requires no UV/LED lamp and fully activates within 40–60 seconds.

​Safety Profile: Extremely gentle on the natural nail plate and skin. It does not cause chemical burns if it accidentally touches the cuticles or surrounding skin.

​Professional Application Tips

​⚠️ Pro-Tip for Perfect Adhesion:

Always apply Acid-Free Primer in an extremely thin layer after using your Nail Prep/Dehydrator. Wipe the brush thoroughly against the neck of the bottle before touching the nail.

​Remember: More is not better. If you apply too much acid-free primer, the surface becomes overwet, which ironically causes the gel to lift. Let it air dry for 60 seconds until it looks slightly shiny and sticky before applying your base coat.
